Since 1994, God Cares Ministry has been on a mission to recruit, train, and equip Christians to help people living in nursing homes find hope and peace in Jesus.

Over 1.4 million Americans reside in our country’s 15,600 nursing homes. Every home has lonely people longing for a compassionate friend to visit them. These people have the same needs for spiritual care and community as you and I, but find themselves isolated and unable to engage with the outside world independently. In their hour of greatest need, so many are abandoned and alone. As Christians, it is our responsibility to enter in, and truly be the hands and voice of Jesus. He loves His elderly sheep, and wants to extend His hand to them in their final season of life. Indeed, this is often their last chance to find life in Him.

At God Cares Ministry, we bring awareness to this need and connect Christians to people who live in nursing homes within their local community.
